Course Info

This course is a meaningful conversation about faith between the founder of Israel Bible Center, Dr. Eli Lizorkin-Eyzenberg, and Yair Feiglin, an orthodox Jew living next to Bethlehem. While Dr. Lizorkin-Eyzenberg went to Seminary and studied on several University campuses, Yair Feiglin spent years at Law School as well as studying under a well-known orthodox Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz. Though they do not share the same perspective on the Messiahship of Jesus as friends they frankly discuss topics of faith found on the pages Torah, each from their unique vantage point. They may not see eye to eye on some very important questions, but much of what they share with each other and between their communities of faith is common ground.

This course does not follow a traditional classroom presentation format. Instead, you are invited to sit in on an inquisitive conversation as two friends move from one biblical story to another.  What you glean will deepen your faith and increase your Biblical literacy.

Great Insights and perspectives, very vibrant and informative discussions. Both parties highly knowledgeable of the material. I heard that interruptions in vibrant Jewish discussions are normal, but it might be easier to follow if they do not occur mid-thought, or mid-sentence. But it's a really great course, am glad I took it, very grateful.

I enjoyed the discussions. I am left with a few questions, maps would have been ideal in certain situations and the tail end of the last words Jacob said to his sons, I wish it would have been explained.
