How can we respond when we’re mad at God? How can we praise the Lord in the midst of life’s many challenges? Throughout the ages, the Psalms have been a rich source for worship and theological reflection in Jewish and Christian traditions. In this course, we will closely study key Psalms that represent the full theological richness of the Psalter, with an eye to how ancient manuscripts, translations, and commentaries can help us understand the texts in fresh ways.

I really enjoy listening to the staff of Israel Bible Center. Everyone of them makes an excellent choice for the other during the roundtable talks. That I haven't got to, yet. But the courses, and the new path course s are really fundamental for my life because the explanation each scholar gives of my interest is way far more than what I expect. Considering as fast as I am learning Israel.

Good course, reflection both the Jewish and Christian understanding of the Psalms. I miss the Talmud and Mishna input; which are also valuable input.
