Dr. André LaCocque

Dr. André LaCocque was professor emeritus of Hebrew Scriptures at the Chicago Theological Seminary and founder of its Center for Jewish-Christian Studies (now the Center for Jewish, Christian, and Islamic Studies). His many books include Jesus the Central Jew: His Times and His People; The Trial of Innocence: Adam, Eve, and the Yahwist; and Work and Creativity: A Philosophical Study from Creation to Postmodernity. Prof. LaCocque passed away in January 2022.
