Dr. Gennady Gorelik is a research fellow at the Center for Philosophy and History of Science at Boston University. A physicist by education and a historian by occupation, he has published ten books and numerous articles on the history of science. His scholarly and popular works include in-depth biographies of the famous 20th-century Russian physicists Andrei Sakharov, Matvei Bronstein, and Lev Landau. He is currently researching the role of underlying philosophical beliefs in stimulating the Scientific Revolution in Europe.
