Dr. Hindy Najman is Oriel & Laing Professor of the Interpretation of Holy Scripture and Director of the Centre for the Study of the Bible at the University of Oxford. Her many academic publications span biblical studies, philosophy, philology, and other fields. Among her books are Seconding Sinai: The Development of Mosaic Discourse in Second Temple Judaism and Losing the Temple and Recovering the Future: An Analysis of 4 Ezra. She is currently finishing a new project, Reading Practices and the Vitality of Scripture, to be published by Oxford University Press.
