Dr. Carol Meyers

Dr. Carol Meyers is Mary Grace Wilson Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Religion at Duke University. She is the author of Discovering Eve: Ancient Israelite Women in Context, as well as nearly twenty-five years later the updated version, Rediscovering Eve. Her other contributions to Biblical studies and archaeology amount to hundreds of publications. A past president of the Society of Biblical Literature, Dr Meyers has worked on numerous important excavations in the Land of Israel, including the famous sites of Tsippori/Sepphoris and Nabratein.
